The new crème brûlée flavour will join chocolate and vegan horchata in the brand’s collection, as well as coffee liqueur Baristo, and the flagship liqueur that was made from a ‘secret’ family recipe with 43 ingredients.
The Spanish brand aims to capitalise on increased consumer interest towards indulgence.
Oliver Svatek, Zamora’s global brand director, commented: “Traditionally, crème brûlée includes some vanilla essence, and this is one of our 43 signature ingredients, so we had a good feeling about this perfect match.”
”Licor 43 has a history of playing a key role in the after-meal occasion, whether with or in place of dessert or coffee and the success of Licor 43 Chocolate showed us scope for further creamy fusions. This time, we’ve added a dash of salted caramel to bring a modern edge.’’
The limited edition release is described by the brand as having a ‘creamy colour with a subtle orange tint, with a taste and aroma that evokes memories of homemade desserts’. It also fuses Licor 43 Original’s ‘botanic and citrusy’ tones with ‘toasted sugar and vanilla’ for a salty finish.
