Darkest mahogany with razor-thin ruby edges. No light is getting through the center of this stout. The wheat toast brown head is firm, sticky, persistent and lays down quite a bit of thick, chunky lace. The nose is dominated by roasted malt with aromas of coffee and chocolate, primarily the former.
