Chewy, thick, and rich with good acidity in addition to outstanding depth and texture, the 2007 is slightly superior to the 2006 Lirac Clos de Sixte. The latter wine, made from a similar blend, is more tannic and rustic, but still outstanding. It reveals a style similar to its 2007 counterpart.Very open and inviting, with fig bread, fruitcake, licorice and mulled raspberry aromas and flavors riding over a racy, graphite-tinged finish.
