This Gewurztraminer is a complex wine balancing acidity with fruit flavours. When drinking I can taste lychees first then green apple skin acidity that make it a match for strongly flavoured food but with a touch of style. Last night we had pork cutlets and a salad which included avocado mashed with a touch of chilli. It's not a cheap wine for every night, but for something a bit different, this is a wine that would go equally well with Asian or European food.
