CAMBRIA JULIA'S VINEYARD PINOT NOIR 750mL

This ruby colored wine opens with a very interesting bouquet. I detected vanilla, pine pitch, beet, and rhubarb. Quite a combination. On the palate, this wine is medium bodied, balanced, and delicate. It displays tasty light strawberry rhubard pie flavors with a hint of light oak. The finish is quite dry and its tingly noticeable tannins linger for quite sometime. This wine is a very different style of Pinot. I think it would pair well with aged gruyere and stone wheat crackers. Enjoy-Ken Winemaker Notes: "The 2007 is our most concentrated Julia's Pinot Noir in more than a decade.
